Daniel Dadoun is the visionary founder and CEO driving Seldat’s mission forward. With a passion for globalization and a decades-long track record of successful entrepreneurship, Mr. Dadoun has dedicated his career to breaking the boundaries of supply chain logistics.
Mr. Dadoun’s first business venture came at age 18, when he opened a one-employee building maintenance company. Simultaneously, he began studying engineering and electronics at Jerusalem College of Engineering to develop his larger ambition of leveraging the then-emerging Internet to revolutionize the supply chain industry.
After earning his electrical engineering degree at age 22, Mr. Dadoun began working in distribution while pursuing an MBA in business. In 1999, as the Internet took off, Mr. Dadoun joined Memec Electronics, which was later acquired by Avnet. He worked for Memec and Avnet for nearly a decade, both in Israel and Canada, while growing a $1 million video game distribution business online.
In 2009, Mr. Dadoun left Avnet to incorporate Seldat, and in 2010, his humble side venture repackaging and shipping video games from his basement to consumers in Australia, the UK, the U.S., France and Canada doubled to $2 million in sales. Seldat’s success propelled Mr. Dadoun to accelerate the company’s growth–not just financially, but also physically–by acquiring additional distribution providers. In 2008, Mr. Dadoun had rented 500 square feet of warehouse space. By 2009, he expanded to 2,500 square feet, and by 2010, the operation grew to 20,000 square feet. Today, Seldat encompasses 2.6 million square feet of warehouse space globally.
Mazal Shrem joined Seldat in January 2017. Previously, Ms. Shrem co-founded NetSource Ltd., an Israeli IT services company with which she served as CEO and led several subsidiaries. From its founding in 2010 to 2017, NetSource grew to 600 employees and contractors.
Ms. Shrem brings to Seldat more than 25 years of global senior management experience, most notably with Intel Corporation, where she was as an engineering and project manager for Intel Israel before being promoted to an investment manager position for Intel Capital at its European headquarters in Munich. Ms. Shrem also spent two years in Africa as the mergers and acquisitions manager for a publicly traded Brazilian coffee manufacturer.
As Senior Vice President and Global Chief Technology officer for Seldat, Mr. Verghese leads the company’s global IT strategy and manages a team of over 250 engineers in five countries. His responsibilities include planning, architecture, enterprise application design, infrastructure, operations and IT security.
With many years of experience in supply chain and IT, Chacko is a transformational leader building innovative technology teams. Prior to joining Seldat, he was the Americas Senior Director, responsible for the Solution Design and Development team at DB Schenker, one of the largest logistics and supply chain companies in the world. During his 20 years with the company he managed the design, development and implementation of regional and global enterprise systems in the supply chain industry.
With a passion for technology and operational strategy, he is responsible for keeping Seldat on the cutting edge of technology and services through innovation, differentiation and agility, while maintaining the company’s positive customer experience.
